Boast Architects designed a large 6 bedroom house with double garage, swimming pool and pool house to replace a much smaller 4 bedroom dwelling. Hertsmere Borough Council granted planning permission in 2021 and construction is expected to finish in 2024.
Newlands Avenue is characterised by large residential properties which vary widely in size and architectural style on sizeable plots. This variety of design extends to the neighbourhood around Newlands Avenue and in Radlett generally where extensive basements, grand gated entrances, big crown roofs and large swimming pools often feature.
The symmetrical front elevation is articulated with simple design lines and architectural detailing in facing brick and stone. It has an enlarged front door with sidelights to provide a view through the middle of the house to the large garden at the rear.
