Refurbishment and conversion of a Grade II Listed barn and stable building.
A link was designed between the stable and farmhouse to provide continuous circulation between the farmhouse and barn. A new entrance feature was created in the side of the stable immediately off the courtyard to form a more convenient main access to the property.
In liaison with the Conservation and Building Control Officers, the timber-framed barn and stable were completely refurbished with the addition of stained timber boarding, bespoke oak-framed joinery and natural slate roofs.
A home office, play area and large family room were incorporated into the stable building linking to generous and flexible open-plan space for living, dining and home cinema in the main barn.
