Planning approval was obtained for 42 dwellings grouped around a new ‘Village Green’ and existing mature trees to create a focal point for the community in the middle of the site.
The design and character of the houses gradually changes from the entrance off Stanstead Road to larger barn-style houses and outbuildings next to Alsa Wood, an ancient woodland which forms a natural backdrop to the development.
Variety and individuality is achieved with a range of architectural design styles and external finishes which reflect Elsenham’s historical character.
